 Corporate News    |      2026-05-28
At this significant milestone—the 20th anniversary of the Changzhou-Yancheng Industrial Park and the 5th anniversary of the co-development between Changzhou and Yancheng cities—the Changyan Innovation Parkofficially commenced operations. As an enterprise representative rooted in the park since 2009, Mr. Chen Wei, General Manager of Sibo Group, delivered a speech at the Investment Promotion Conference and Launch Ceremony. Through a sincere expression of gratitude, a strategic signing ceremony, and a technical showcase, he outlined the journey of Sibo’s growth evolving in sync with the park.

Seventeen Years of Commitment: Witnessing the "Changyan Speed"

"The first thing I want to say is: Thank you," Mr. Chen admitted in his speech. Since Sibo Electric settled in the park in 2009, what has touched the company most is the local business environment. From site selection and administrative approvals to construction commencement, the park provided dedicated personnel for full-process coordination, ensuring every need was met. Over the past five years, since the park was upgraded to a North-South Joint Development Zone, policies have been precise and pragmatic—fully implementing the "Yellow Sea Pearl Talent Program"to attract high-level talent; continuously improving infrastructure such as roads, green spaces, and talent apartments; and establishing regular engagement mechanisms to proactively address challenges. It is precisely this service philosophy of "Zero interference when not needed, immediate support when requested" that anchored Sibo’s commitment to the park. Here, Sibo was successively recognized as a National High-Tech Enterpriseand a National-Level "Little Giant" Enterprise, steadily advancing in the field of marine electrical and automation.

High-Speed Rail Sensor Signing: Sino-German Cooperation forging a New Growth Pole
Driven by the "Transportation Powerhouse"national strategy and the wave of railway technology localization, Sibo Group has actively sought new growth engines. The company joined hands with Germany’s Noris Group, establishing a Sino-German joint venture with 50/50 capital contribution from both parties. During the launch event, Sibo Electric and the Changzhou-Yancheng Industrial Park officially signed the agreement, marking the successful settlement of this project in Changyan.
The smooth landing of this project is attributed to the park management committee’s comprehensive services in connecting international resources, providing policy consultation, and securing essential factors of production. With unprecedented openness and pragmatism, the park continues to optimize its business environment, creating a development model of green, low-carbon, and smart manufacturing. Sibo will take this as a new starting point to contribute "Sibo Strength" to the Transportation Powerhouse strategy.

Post-Conference Field Visit: Digital Intelligence Draws Attention, Industry-Education Integration Opens New Horizons

Following the promotion conference, a delegation of experts and leaders—including Ms. Dong Caifeng, Vice Mayor of Yancheng and Secretary of the CPC Working Committee of Changyan Industrial Park; Mr. Lin Kang, Deputy Director of the Jiangsu Provincial Development and Reform Commission; and Mr. Chen Haiqun, President of Changzhou University—paid a special visit to Sibo Electric. The Data Remote Transmission Systemand Intelligent Engine Room Systembecame the highlights of the tour. The former enables real-time monitoring of ship operating status synchronized with shore-based systems, while the latter elevates vessel maintenance from "passive repair and scheduled overhaul" to "active early warning and condition-based maintenance," delivering quantifiable economic returns throughout the ship's lifecycle. The leaders inquired in detail about the technical principles and application scenarios, expressing keen interest in Sibo’s innovations in smart shipping and anticipating deeper interactions in industry-academation collaboration and talent cultivation.

From marine electrical systems to high-speed rail sensors, from deep-rooted manufacturing to international cooperation, every step of Sibo Electric’s growth resonates with the development of the park. Standing at the new starting line of the Innovation Park’s launch, Sibo will uphold its original aspiration of rooting itself in the park, serving the local community, and giving back to society. We will advance project construction to high standards, continuously deepen international cooperation, constantly enhance product added value, and contribute more "Sibo Strength" to the Transportation Powerhousestrategy and the high-quality development of the regional economy.
