Jointly Expanding the Japanese Market

On the opening day of SMM, Sibo Automation celebrated its first major milestone: a tripartite business cooperation and agency agreement signed by Germany’s NORIS Group, China’s Sibo Group, and Japan’s CJMI Ltd. The agreement officially appoints CJMI as the business agent for both NORIS Group and Sibo Group in Japan, effective immediately.
The three parties bring distinct strengths to this collaboration. NORIS Group is a renowned German conglomerate in maritime automation, holding a leading technological position in condition measurement, monitoring, and data processing. Sibo Group is a major Chinese supplier of marine automation and power distribution systems, boasting over 30 years of industry experience. The two groups have been partners since 2004 and elevated their relationship to a global strategic partnership in April 2026, establishing a profound foundation of mutual trust and business synergy. This tripartite alliance represents a further expansion built upon their existing global strategic cooperation framework.
Acting as the crucial link to the Japanese market, CJMI is a professional trading and maritime enterprise headquartered in Kobe, Japan, with a history spanning over 110 years. Since the Meiji era, Kobe has served as a core hub for Japan's maritime industry, hosting numerous shipowners, shipyards, and maritime service providers. Deeply rooted in Kobe, CJMI has long cultivated the Japanese shipbuilding and maritime sectors, forging strong relationships with local shipowners, shipyards, and industrial enterprises. With extensive experience in the Sino-Japanese maritime field, the company has been involved in exporting marine equipment and related products to Chinese shipyards for many years. This tripartite cooperation seamlessly integrates technological superiority, industry accumulation, and profound insights into the Japanese market. Hamburg witnessed the signing of the agreement, while Kobe will open the door to the future.

Deepening Presence in the Greek Market

Following the signing with CJMI, Sibo Automation announced another major development at SMM: the official signing of a business agency agreement with Greece’s Space Electronics S.A. Notably, this marks Sibo Group's second partnership in the Greek market within a month, following the service agency agreement signed with Greek firm ACTech in August 2026, underscoring the group's high regard and determination for Greece as a vital global shipping hub.
Founded in 1976, Space Electronics S.A. is a leading Greek provider of maritime electronics, navigation, and communication solutions. The company represents numerous globally renowned manufacturers, with business coverage spanning electronic navigation, vessel performance optimization, green environmental protection, and cybersecurity. This agreement officially appoints Space Electronics S.A. as the business agent for Sibo Automation in Greece. Leveraging Space Electronics' deep local industry resources and technical expertise, the two parties will work together to expand the market share of Sibo Automation's products and services in Greece.
